The A.H.J.B.S. was organized in 1985 to preserve the history of antique automatic phonographs, known as juke boxes, by encouraging the acquisition, restoration, preservation, and exhibition of antique juke boxes and related items such as speakers and wall boxes. OUR RAFFLE JUKE FOR 2019 IS A
1953 AMI E80
SEVERAL MEMBERS INCLUDING NICK, CHARLIE AND MIKE HAVE BEEN WORKING HARD TO REFURBISH THE BOX, INCLUDING ALL NEW VENEER ON THE OUTSIDE. IT APPEARS THAT THE INTERNAL WORKINGS WERE REFURBISHED BY OUR LATE MEMBER BOB BURKE BEFORE HE PASSED AWAY, AND ARE IN GOOD SHAPE! SEE THE SLIDE SHOW BELOW OF THE PROGRESS OF REFURBISHING THE CABINET.
